Our Mission
The Platte Valley
Arts Council (PVAC) is supported by membership donations and volunteers.
Located in Carbon County, serving Saratoga and Encampment, Wyoming the PVAC
was established to promote, encourage, and support all forms of the arts,
including sponsoring the
Platte Valley Festival
of the Arts, as well as various activities throughout the year.
These events include a juried art show with cash awards, craft show, performing
artists, musical performances, theatrical performances, and cowboy
poetry.
The Council's mission is to enrich the quality of life and expand the basis
for the arts in the surrounding communities.
