The Platte Valley Arts Council is dedicated to promoting the arts in Saratoga and Encampment, Carbon County, Wyoming. The PVAC sponsors art workshops and performances in the local schools and for the general public. The PVAC has began implementing programs to assist and promote local artists through arts and craft shows and fairs.
The PVAC strives to recognize and promote all forms and levels of Art; visual, performing, and literary. The PVAC is keeping a watchful eye towards new and cutting edge work.
The Platte Valley Arts Council is a non-profit corporation located in Carbon County, south central Wyoming. Established in 1993 to promote, encourage and support all forms of the arts, the Council’s mission is to enrich the quality of life of the area and to expand the basis for the arts in the surrounding communities through increased educational opportunities. An important goal of the Council is to facilitate the planning, funding, construction and continuing maintenance of a permanent arts center in order to contribute to the long-term cultural and economic strength of the area.
